25/365 Jack Frost

MAN it was cold this morning! Minus 1 degrees C to be exact! Seems a little early to be this cold, but I guess not, seeing as it's mid November already! Seriously, where has this year gone! I braved the cold for a few seconds with my camera phone to try to capture the wonderful ice crystals and the bright blue sky - very beautiful, but I totally needed my hat and gloves! Time to dig out winter clothes ASAP!

24/365 Plant love

A year ago I didn't have any plants in the house, I am not sure why! Because I love them! I still think we need more around the place though, and the husband agrees (score!) so maybe a little  plant shopping trip is on the cards! I love these yukka plants mainly because they are almost impossible to kill off! :) And I love the graphic shapes their leaves make, which is highlighted by the funky neon filter of the last photo!

22/365 Family - part 1

One of the things we did at our Wedding Reception is pull together a LOAD of old family photos and lots of baby pictures and projected them on a big screen throughout the evening. So if you weren't into dancing you could grab a seat and watch them all flow by. It was a really fun project to complete, to find and choose, scan and edit all these wonderful memories. I am going to print out 175 of them and put them in some special photo albums, so maybe / hopefully our kid (s) can laugh at baby photos of their Mum and Dad one day :) Part one here are all of me! Funny how not much changes really, I might be bigger and have grown up (a little?) but most of those facial expressions are JUST the same as the ones I pull daily now!!
