Our wedding on October 13th is fast approaching!! We went to the venue to see them setting up for another wedding and to try some menu options. We are getting married in a beautiful Vineyard & Wine Estate in Surrey, which in the autumn will have the vines in full leaf and fruit and be just a carpet of colour all around. We are having a small and intimate ceremony and "Wedding Breakfast" in a Gallery restaurant high up in the Winery Tower and overlooking the vineyard. And then a HUGE party with a live band in the evening in a large room opening out into a courtyard, here's some photos...
Menu tasting was FUN! Although very odd to be eating a 3 course meal with wine at 11:30am!!
We came up with our final options, here's some of the delish dishes we tried... And the last one is of me looking a bit thinner after my rigorous diet and exercise routines of recent weeks, and with brunette hair! I felt like I wanted a change, but am feeling I will be blonde again for the wedding day :)
