33/365 Wedding Memories - Arrivals

We only had very close friends and family to our Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast, it was lovely, as it was so intimate and everyone got to know each other really fast! It was lovely to see people who had never met before introducing themselves and chatting away! And finally now when i'm talking to my Mum about everyone in my life, she will know them all! We decided to do away with the tradition of not spending the night before together, and travelling down separately as I know that would have made me SO nervous, so we were able to calm each other, and meet all our guests together, which made us happy, and so the guests told me, made them feel very relaxed about the day from the beginning. From the top: me and my Dad! My husband to be and I and his grandma, our best man, my making H2B hold my bouquet and finding it hilarious for some reason! My best girlfriends, H2B's Mum and Dad.

32/365 Wedding Memories - Venue

I just got my official Wedding photos this weekend and have been madly planning which photos / which sizes / which albums / which frames! It's been so much FUN! I realised that I hadn't actually shared many from the day with you all and so thought now they are all nicely edited and print ready, it would be a good opportunity to take a peek into our big day! So get ready for a little wedding sharing over the next few days, starting with the venue today. We choose Denbies Vineyard in Surrey after we had been to a wonderful wedding there ourselves the year before, and had only heard GREAT things from every one who had either had their wedding there or attended one. It's England's largest vineyard with over 265 acres of vines and is stunningly beautiful at any time of the year. Here are a selection of photos from our planning visits in the weeks leading up to the wedding, on the day we had bright sunshine, a tiny rain shower, rainbows and shooting stars! Can't ask for more auspicious weather than that!!

31/365 Practice

If you head on over to my other joint photographic blog Two Views, you will see this weeks assignment is "Panoramic" so here's a sneak peek of my desktop at work, while trying to master the technique! I have a really fun idea for my actual submission, so you will just have to keep checking in to see when its posted! As well as TJ's best shot too!

30/365 Close up at the Museum

I had to show you some of the amazing exhibits we saw in The Natural History Museum.... as luck would have it my nose led me straight to the minerals section, which was all the things I love, crystals, gemstones, lava and jewellery! Score! We had a look round to see if we could arrange an Oceans 11 style mission to score me some Christmas Presents, sadly they seem to be pretty secure....
